Content Creator & Social Media Manager
ABOUT THE ROLE:
Sweetfeet is hiring a Content Creator & Social Media Manager to own how the brand shows up every day — from reel shots at a 7am run club to the imagery carrying a full collection launch. This is a creator's role: you hold the phone, cut the edit, design the graphic, and work hand in hand with our social team to bring it life.
WHAT YOU'LL OWN
— Concept, shoot, and edit short-form video for Instagram Reels and TikTok on a consistent daily cadence.
idea through published post.
— Film and edit on iPhone, with a real feel for hooks, pacing, captions, sound, and the first two seconds that decide
whether a video works.
— Design the assets the business runs on — campaign graphics, email creative, size and fit charts, packaging
inserts, event signage, paid social variants.
— Build content once and adapt it per channel: Instagram, TikTok, email, the Shopify storefront, paid social, and
wholesale partner assets.
— Own the content plan for every drop — teasers, launch day, restock moments — and shoot on location at run
clubs, races, pop-ups, and studio days.
— Run the channels day to day (comments, DMs, UGC, creator partnerships) and report weekly on reach, follower
and email list growth, and social-attributed revenue in Shopify.
WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR
— Two or more years creating content for a brand, a creator, or yourself, with a portfolio of short-form video you
personally shot and edited.
— Genuine fluency filming and editing on iPhone, plus real graphic design capability in Adobe, Figma, or Canva —
layout and typography, not templates.
— Native command of Instagram and TikTok — what performs, what is about to feel dated, and why.
— Self-directed. You will be given a direction and a calendar, not a shot-by-shot brief.
— Based in New York City, and up for early mornings, evenings, and occasional weekends around races and run
clubs.
COMPENSATION
$20 – $30 per hour, based on experience and portfolio, capped at 10 hours per week. Includes a full product allowance across every drop and a monthly gear and content-production stipend.
HOW TO APPLY
Send a résumé and portfolio to sf@sweetfeetnyc.com with Content in the subject line. In place of a cover letter,
send three links: a video you shot and edited yourself, a graphic you designed, and an account you think does this
well that we probably haven't seen. Applications without samples aren't reviewed.
